Press release -

New crew change vessel sets sail

HST 780 – ESVAGT’s coming crew change vessel – has been launched at the Zamakone shipyard in Bilbao.

The vessel will be completed and put through its sea trials up to the 1st of August 2018, after which the vessel will be ready.

Because of the decline in ESVAGT’s activity, the shipping company and the Zamakone shipyard have agreed to delay delivery and the completed vessel will be laid up for a year until August 2018, says Kristian Ole Jakobsen, Chief Operating Officer for ESVAGT:

“Zamakone has been very understanding about the current market situation that means that not all of our vessels are in action. We have worked together to find a solution that we are all very satisfied with,” says Kristian Ole Jakobsen.
