Rune Østergaard joins ESVAGT as Head of Commercial Wind
Thanks to its unique SOV concepts, ESVAGT has established itself as market leader for innovative vessel solutions for offshore wind. It is this continued growth in the offshore wind energy market that Rune Østergaard (43 years) will be heading up.
Rune Østergaard has an extensive understanding of the commercial wind market, which is a solid foundation for the task ahead. He has experience as a supplier for wind turbine producers both in Denmark and in the USA, and, as part of the wind turbine industry, he has worked closely with customers to fulfil their needs:
“I have a good working knowledge of the entire value chain and experience in spotting optimisation and opportunities for innovative solutions. ESVAGT is a respected partner in the development of tailor made concepts, and I look forward to carrying on that work,” says Rune Østergaard.
Rune Østergaard joins ESVAGT from Siemens Wind Power, where he held the post of Head of Strategic Customer Management.
