Sertica ensures uptime and quality

Every ESVAGT vessel now has the Sertica system implemented for purchasing and maintenance. It ensures quality, reduces the risk of breakdowns and can eliminate error related costs.

Implementing Sertica in the entire fleet has given ESVAGT the possibility of streamlining purchasing and maintenance. It will have a positive effect on quality, uptime and cost levels.

“Sertica opens up entirely new opportunities for optimising several parameters in our operations,” says Kristian Ole Jakobsen, Chief Operating Officer for ESVAGT:

“We now have a more uniform product through which we can take full advantage of our experiences and competencies across the fleet. It will also strengthen our maintenance, where we can probably move more tasks from ‘repair’ to ‘service’. We expect this to bring increased reliability and a reduction in maintenance costs,” he says.

“Sertica has been implemented across the fleet for purchasing February 2016 and has an excellent track record,” says Carsten Larsen, Supply Chain Manager:

“We now have improved traceability in our deliveries, which has improved quality. Sertica has also made photo documentation possible, reducing the number of ordering mistakes. At the same time, it has freed up a great deal of time that used to be spent on administration that can now be spent on securing better commercial agreements,” he says.
