A unique Millenium box auctioned at Sotheby´s in London today to benefit Expo

Unique Millenium box on sale at Sotheby´s

Today a spectacular, unique boxed set of Stieg Larsson´s Millenium trilogy will be sold at Sotheby´s in London. MacLehose had made the box that has been designed by Sangorski & Sutcliffe. The money raised will go to the Expo foundation where Stieg used to work.

The three volumes that they made are magnificent and have the added value of a letter to Stieg of considerable interest which the Larsson family generously gave to us to go inside the boxed set, but the whole binding, which is witty and clever and original and lavish has exceeded my best hopes for it and it goes on sale with the publisher's profoundest respect for Expo and the memory of one of the world's greatest storytellers".
