Finegreen Featured Job of the Week - A&E Performance Lead, South East

A large NHS organisation is currently seeking a very capable individual to working within their busy A&E department ensuring the delivery of standard targets also the focus of working in adherence to new pathways set out by the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the division’s delivery to all their performance agreements in line with annual and strategic plans set by the Trust as a whole;
• Taking accountability for the safety, service quality and experience of patients and clients cared for by the division, meeting key performance indicators in the emergency pathway, length of stay and discharge arrangements;
• Representing the trust on relevant multiagency committees and work collaboratively with local CCGs and Boroughs to ensure delivery of schemes such as those underpinning the Better Care Fund;
• Working independently to assess clinical and non-clinical situations requiring immediate action and make decisions/take appropriate action when required to ensure smooth running of the site and/or to reduce emergent risks;
• Embracing the principles of service line management, placing them at the heart of the division’s approach to planning, operational delivery and performance review.

A successful candidate will have:

• Candidate will need to have worked with A&E in their previous post or within the last 6 months;
• Extensive senior level operational management experience;
• Proven track record of Managing change which is complex in nature and has divisional or organisational impact.
