Our client is a leading provider of non-clinical support services to the NHS and has developed a strong reputation in the sector. They offer Estates, Facilities and Capital projects consultancy support to clients in the healthcare environment.

We are currently assisting them in delivering an ambitious growth plan, to further enable them to offer consultancy support to NHS clients throughout London and the rest of the UK. With this in mind, they are recruiting to a number of interim Project and Cost Management roles. Suitable candidates will ideally have worked in a consultancy environment, offering professional technical and management support services to the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • Account manage a portfolio of clients including all aspects of client care and obtaining client feedback on performance and service delivery at key stages through each commission;
  • Accountable for providing programme and project management services to support and enhance the effective delivery of all services;
  • Manage bids and tender responses for the service;
  • Lead service delivery of projects and act as the key point of contact for clients who may be UK based or overseas;
  • Develop, lead and manage a high performing specialist team of consultants representing a centre of excellence for the service line.

Key skills / experience required:

  • Professional qualification in service delivery related subject, educated to a Masters Degree or equivalent level in a relevant field or with equivalent experience in a construction role;
  • Full membership of a chartered institute in the construction industry (e.g. RICS, CIBSE, CIOB, or MICE);
  • At least 5 years proven experience as an Associate Director gained in programme and project environments;
  • Significant and in depth experience and record of achievement in successfully delivering technically complex and high value construction projects and programmes, working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders;
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting business cases at SOC, OBC and FBC stages;
  • Significant experience of successfully leading and managing a team of project managers responsible for projects up to £50million in value.
