Our featured job of the week is for a large healthcare organisation who are currently looking for the above post for a period of 12 months to oversee a transfer and transformation of services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with the SMT, external and internal stakeholders the post holder will be responsible for the transfer of School Nursing and Public Health services to another provider;
• Responsible for ensuring that the new provider is operationally and strategically ready to become a provider of these services;
• Responsible person for ensuring that the new provider meets the regulatory requirements for becoming a provider of School Nursing services and then as a provider of services and an employer of registered Nurses;

A successful candidate will have:

• Essential requirement for the role is that a candidate holds an NMC registration, can be held as RGN/RSCN or HV but will need specialist knowledge or qualification in community or Public Health Nursing;
• Demonstrate a strong track record of both clinical and operational leadership within service change/development;
• Evidenced strategic leadership skill set.
