A leading Healthcare Consultancy has a requirement for a Commercial Director in the North to manage the continuing development of the company through strategic bidding and tender submissions.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the achievement of the Strategy and Sales Teams targets through successful winning of bids and tenders;
• Managing the commercial aspects and coordination of all pre-qualifications, invitations to tender and all other forms of  tender submissions and bids to an exceptional high quality to deadlines set;
• Supporting with the development, collation, preparation, and maintenance of corporate information, marketing literature, case studies  and all other data essential for the commercial aspects of submission of bids;
• Contributing to the achievement of Capita P&I Health overall business plan through fee earning to set annual targets;
• Developing and managing commercial research and analysis on clients, competitors,  services and products and the health market for use on bids, using a number of different media, so to keep our bids at the leading edge of all our competitors;
• Preparing high quality presentations that may be required by the Strategy and Sales Team throughout the bidding process on key commercial aspects of the bids;
• Providing support to the National Sales Director and other Bid Directors as required;
• Interfacing with other senior managers within Capita Property and Infrastructure in a professional and appropriate manner;
• Challenging current commercial thinking and look to introduce innovation to ensure that our bids exceed expectations;
• Attending training to develop and build on knowledge and professional skills.
