Our featured job of the week is for a large NHS organisation in the South East who are looking for a Deputy Director of Nursing

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide professional leadership to all nursing staff and facilitate the leadership within the Trust enabling their expert contribution to strategy and delivery to be effective;
• Provide expert nursing advice, working in partnership with business partners, on divisional and Trust priorities e.g. workforce, education and training;
• Promote a culture that reflects the values of the organisation and the NHS more widely, applying relevant national initiatives and strategies;
• Promote the continuing professional development of all Nursing and Midwifery staff and foster a culture which encourages them to be innovative and challenging in the interests of patient care and to take on professional leadership for the delivery of high standards of care;

The successful candidate shall:

• Be a First Level Registered Nurse – Mental Health or Learning Disability;
• Have experience of senior nursing roles within clinically appropriate services;
• Possess evidence of strong clinical leadership resulting in high clinical standards;
• Have knowledge and understanding clinical performance systems and the national regulatory frameworks.
