Our featured job of the week is for a large NHS organisation who are looking for a highly skilled individual to provide support and capacity to the Board in a number of specific areas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide capacity to an existing Board Director and engagement across the trust and with the Business Intelligence team on further development of the Trust Performance Management Strategy and information for efficient operation of divisional business units;
  • Provide capacity and expertise in PbR activity modelling for STP system business cases;
  • Support the Business Intelligence, Quality Monitoring and Performance Improvement Teams with System Development to support operational managers; inc. but not limited to Datix, patient safety and risk management software, MIS/SMART Reporting Tool, ESR and Agresso;
  • Expertise provided around National dashboards, development and lead understanding of response to national performance management tools; NHSI Model Hospital, CQC Trust Provider Information Request and CQC Dashboard also NHS England Right Care data;
  • Develop good engagement with Director of Nursing, Chief Operating Officer and other SMT to support high quality and effective operational delivery.

A successful candidate will have:

  • Significant experience in performance management, systems and reporting;
  • Experience of managing and supporting teams and individuals development;
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills;
  • Understanding of IT systems;
  • Most have NHS experience in line with performance tools above, also have worked at Band 8c/d level for a significant period of time.
