A South West based Clinical Commissioning Group need an interim Director of Acute Contracting, who will work with the contracting team across the CCG’s three major acute contracts.

The post-holder will ensure that they have robust and consistent contractual processes, to identify areas where their controls require strengthening and to ensure that their contracts are scrutinised and all possible challenges raised and followed through to support achievement of balance/underspend at year end.

He/she will take a lead in Integrated Provider Assurance Meetings to ensure robust challenge and speedy escalation of issues.

They are looking for someone with significant, very senior experience in a contracting role, with sound knowledge of PbR and experience of working in challenged communities to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
