Their unique mix of acute and community services and excellent working relationships with their neighbouring Trusts and Local Authorities, puts them at the forefront of developing and delivering time integrated patient pathways.

As Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Governance, the postholder should be the lead driver of the Trust's financial strategy at a time of significant financial challenge in the NHS.

The postholder will need to be an experienced, qualified professional accountant, working at or around Board level, operating currently in a senior financial position, preferably in a large, complex organisation.

You will be based in South Shields, on Tyneside, within easy reach of thriving big city facilities and some of the most beautiful coastal and rural areas in the country.
