NCH&C are starting the process to identify and appoint a Director of Finance & Performance. Our incumbent Director of Finance has enjoyed a highly successful tenure with the Trust and has laid solid foundations for a stable and successful future. His successor will be joining an organisation rated 'Good' by the CQC, that exceeded their annual surplus target for 2014/15 and are on target to deliver a surplus in 2015/16. Monitor are currently assessing the Trust for Foundation Trust status.

The Director of Finance & Performance will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management of the Finance, IMT, Performance and Estates & Facilities functions. In addition to their functional remit they will also sit on the Trust's Board, where they will play a key role in the Trust's Leadership team and defining the Trust's overall strategic vision.

As a suitable candidate for this post you will be a fully qualified accountant, currently operating as a Director of Finance or an established Deputy Director who has gained Board level experience. You will have a proven track-record of successfully managing a large finance function with significant budgetary responsibility and you will be comfortable operating in a leadership role within a highly complex organisation. We are looking for an excellent leader, who has the gravitas and credibility to inspire internal employees and engage and challenge external stakeholders. You will be highly numerate, commercially astute and will possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
