A leading provider of innovative Healthcare FM Solutions is seeking a Director of Business Development (DBD) who will support the Managing Director in developing and implementing the current Business Strategy, identify new business development opportunities and work with the Managing Director to encourage recommended actions.

The DBD will seek out, evaluate and deliver new bidding and partnership opportunities in the NHS market.

The DBD will analyse the market, develop relationships with external organisations including potential commercial partners, referral agencies and clients, and identify opportunities to offer consultancy support to client organisations regarding their local needs, service plans, assets and estates.  From these consultations the DBD will advise on the appropriate tailored solutions, demonstrating awareness and understanding of client needs and the NHS market, to prepare detailed bids and documentation submissions as required.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Identifying opportunities and meet key contacts within the NHS;
• Leading a team to create bespoke solutions tailored to the client’s needs;
• Managing a team of Business Development Managers.
