Our client is a relatively small but ambitious and growing company within the healthcare sector, who supply and support a wide range of ultrasound equipment. They are currently starting the process to identify and appoint an accomplished and entrepreneurial Managing Director to lead the company through the next phase of its development and the realisation of their strategic goals and growth targets.

The Managing Director will develop and implement a strategic plan for the business which will result in increased productivity and profitability. They will also devise and oversee the business’ transition from a supplier of hardware equipment and reposition them as a value added service provider. This will be achieved through the development of effective sales and marketing strategy e.g. website, e-commerce activity, direct sales, account management and brand awareness campaigns etc. In addition, they will have a specific focus on quality, value added services, recurring revenues and improved efficiency, all of this leading to increased profitability.

As the Managing Director you will need to be a strong leader with the ability to inspire, motivate and direct an organisation and its people. You will have a proven track-record of business growth and establishing new propositions and be naturally entrepreneurial in you approach and outlook to business. You will be able develop and maintain a strong culture, organisational values and reputation. You will be highly motivated and energetic with a drive to succeed. This will be underpinned by strong ethics and a high level of integrity.
