Safer approach for vessels through new collaboration

During the summer however, growth levelled out and in the autumn, there was a fall in import and export volumes for several categories of goods. Despite this, the figures for 2011 reveal record volumes for container traffic.

Maersk Line and Broström join campaign for cleaner shipping

Jan 31, 2012 14:41 GMT The world's largest container carrier, Maersk Line and Broström have decided to join the Port of Gothenburg campaign for cleaner shipping. The two shipping companies are currently switching to fuel with a maximum of 0.1 per cent sulphur when they operate in the port area. Five shipping companies are now participating in the Port of Gothenburg environmental campaign for cleaner shipping.
