During the summer however, growth levelled out and in the autumn, there was a fall in import and export volumes for several categories of goods. Despite this, the figures for 2011 reveal record volumes for container traffic.

Aug 16, 2010 08:47 BST The recovery from the downturn in freight volumes in 2009 is continuing. During the first half of the year an increase was reported in both containers and ro/ro units. The largest increase – almost 70 per cent - was noted in the car segment.
