Appeal after high value jewellery burglaries

We are appealing for information after high value jewellery was taken in three burglaries.

Entry was gained on each occasion by smashing the bottom panels of property doors.

The main bedrooms were searched and jewellery totalling over £60,000 was taken along with cash.

The burglaries took place as follows:

  • Botley Road, Fair Oak between 11.09am and 11.25am on Monday 29 October
  • Botley Road, Horton Heath between midnight on Saturday 6 October and 8am on Saturday 20 October
  • Grange Road, Hedge End between 10.30am and 10.40am pm on Friday 12 October

An attempted burglary also took place at the same Grange Road address between 11.55am and 12.05pm on Monday 29 October.

We have released CCTV images of a man we would like to speak to in connection with these incidents and a motorcycle he may have been using.

The man is described as follows:

  • 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall
  • Wearing black, loose fitting trousers, a black sweatshirt witout a hood, black gloves and black trainers with white soles
  • Using a white and black patterned helmet with a purple visor
  • Carrying a black and red bag
