Appeal for information following street robbery in Totton

Officers are investigating a street robbery in Totton in which a man was forced to hand over his wallet.

It took place in the Kinross Road area sometime between 11.20pm and midnight on Tuesday 12 March.

The victim, a 23-year-old man, was walking along Rum Walk, the path between Kinross Road and Brokenford Lane, when a man approached him.

The man threatened him and the victim handed over his wallet, which contained £50 cash, a bank card and a gym membership card.

The victim thought the man had something in this right hand during this incident, but could not see what it was.

The man is described as:

  • white
  • around 30 years old
  • around 6ft tall
  • of medium build
  • wearing a black hooded jumper, a black snood which covered his mouth and nose, black trousers and black trainers, which had a white Nike Swoosh emblem.
