Appeal for mobile phone footage following assault in Portsmouth

We are asking for members of the public who have mobile phone footage of, or witnessed, an assault at Ravelin Park in Portsmouth to contact us.

A 23 year-old man was treated for a stab wound to his hand following an altercation involving four men at Ravelin Park on Cambridge Road shortly after 3:30pm on Thursday 21 March.

Subsequently a 21-year-old woman from Portsmouth was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent. She has been released from custody without charge, but remains under investigation.

A 23 year-old man from Portsmouth arrested on suspicion of assault has been released from custody without charge, but remains under investigation.

A 20 year-old man from Portsmouth arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of a knife in a public place remains in custody at this time.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team is carrying out patrols in the area.
