Appeal for witnesses after man attacked in Aldershot

We’re appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Aldershot in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A 43-year-old man was approached by three men in Romsey Close, Aldershot, at around 4.15am.

The victim was knocked to the ground and suffered puncture wounds before the three men ran off down an alleyway.

Officers attended the scene and the man was taken to St George’s Hospital, Tooting, with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

DS Louise Mills said: “We know that this happened in the early hours of the morning but we’d ask residents to think about whether or not they heard anything out of the ordinary.

“Did you see three men hanging around, acting suspiciously or have you got CCTV set up at your address because that may have captured something which could help with our investigation?

“Please get in touch and let us know.”
