Appeal for witnesses after two men are robbed in Southampton

We are appealing for information after two 19-year-old men were robbed by a group in a car on Northam Road at 4am on Friday 24 August.

During the incident, one of the 19-year-old’s was shot in the face with an air weapon causing an injury to his cheek.

A phone and wallet was also stolen.

Both men were assaulted and attended hospital for treatment. They have since been discharged.

Three boys and a man aged between 16 and 25-years-old were arrested shortly after the incident and questioned by officers. They were released from police custody but remain under investigation.

We would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have seen a group in a car travelling around the area before 4am with an air weapon.
