Appeal for witnesses following a robbery at Golden Touch Arcade in Southampton

We are appealing for information after a man entered Golden Touch Amusement Arcades on Shirley High Street on Monday 11 March at 9.30pm and stole the contents of the safe.

The man, seen here in the CCTV images, entered the store and approached a member of staff by grabbing them. The staff member was forced to give the man the key to the safe. The man took around £6k cash which he put into a bag and then left the premises.

The staff member was uninjured.

The man has been described as standing 6 feet tall and having a stocky build. He was wearing a dark jacket with a white stripe on and grey work trousers with reflective stripes at the bottom.

Do you recognise this man by his clothing?

Did you see anyone matching this description in Shirley High Street or Church Street before or after 9.30pm on Monday?
