Arrests made after Southampton stabbing

Four arrests have been made after a man was stabbed in Southampton on Tuesday 30 October.

The incident took place at about 3pm at Gloucester Square car park.

A 50-year-old man from Southampton was taken to hospital suffering from stab wounds - he remains in a stable condition.

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Three are from Greater London and are aged 20, 21 and 26; the fourth is aged 23 and of no fixed abode.

All four men remain in police custody at this time.

If you saw anything suspicious in the area of the High Street, Gloucester Square, Briton Road or Lower Canal Walk between 2pm and 4pm on Tuesday, please get in touch.

We are also appealing for sightings of a grey Peugeot 206, registration number PN53 YLH, in the same area between 2pm and 7pm.
