Assault investigation - King Arthurs Way, Andover

We are appealing for information after a man and a woman were injured in a public order incident in Andover.

We received a report at 5.18pm on Monday 8 October that a fight had taken place between two groups of people in the car park of The Merlin pub in King Arthurs Way.

Officers attended the scene.

Two people were taken to hospital – a 37-year-old woman, who sustained fractured ribs, and a 19-year-old man, who sustained bruised ribs.

No arrests have been made.

Enquiries are underway to establish the circumstances of this incident and identify those involved.

Four men we would like to speak to about this incident have been described as white and aged between 18 and 25 years old.

One has been described as wearing a green tracksuit, and two others have been described as wearing dark-coloured tracksuits.

Officers from Andover’s Neighbourhood Policing Team have been carrying out high-visibility patrols in the area.
