CCTV image released after thefts from vehicles in Hedge End

We have released a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with a series of thefts from vans and cars in Hedge End.

Over the last week vehicles, some of which were insecure, have been targeted in Churchward Gardens, Arthurs Gardens, Brittania Gardens, Wellstead Way and Hedley Gardens.

The items stolen have included a dash cam, a wallet containing bank cards and a laptop.

The man is described as follows:

• White
• In his 20s
• Wearing a beanie hat with a stripe around the base
• Carrying a walking cane and may have a limp

We would like to remind owners to remove any valuables, including works tools, and to ensure their vehicles are locked.
