CCTV Image released as part of burglary investigation

Do you recognise this man?

We would like to speak to him as part of our on-going enquiries into a burglary which took place in the Bassett area of Southampton.

At around 2.40pm on Monday 15 October, a house on Bassett Crescent East was burgled, and items including a laptop, a Playstation 4 and an iPhone 7 were stolen.

We are also linking this to two similar incidents which took place that same afternoon.

A man was seen acting suspiciously in the back garden of a house in Pentire Avenue, Shirley, at around 1.30pm but left the area when he was disturbed.

Then at 2pm, a man tried to break into a house on Redhill Crescent, Bassett, but was unsuccessful.

We would like to identify and talk to the man in the image as he may be able to assist our enquiries.
