Press release -

CCTV issued following theft of car batteries in Waterlooville

Officers have released CCTV footage of a man they’d like to speak to following a theft in Waterlooville.

At 4.45pm on Wednesday, 14 November a white Ford flatbed van pulled up outside an address on Privett Road.

The driver tried to get into a car which was parked on the driveway.  He then worked with a woman, who was a passenger in the van, to take ten car batteries which were in the front garden of the address, before driving off.

PC Andrew Collis, said: “Do you recognise the man in the CCTV, or do you know someone who owns a vehicle like this?  Do you live in the area and have any CCTV footage of this vehicle being driven around that day?
