Press release -

CCTV released in connection with mobility scooter theft

Do you recognise this woman?

We appreciate the images are not the clearest, but we are confident someone in the local area will know who she is.

Officers would like to speak to her in connection with a mobility scooter theft in Portsmouth.

The scooter, which is described as a silver Kymco with a gold diamond motif on the front, was stolen from a bin and bike store area of a property on Berkshire Close, some time between 4am and 4.30am on Wednesday 1 August.

We would like to identify the woman pictured who was walking a small brown and white dog in the area.

PC Darryl Clarke said: “The victim is an elderly man who relies on this scooter on a daily basis.

“We would like to recover this for him as soon as possible, as well as find the person responsible.

“Did you see or hear anything suspicious in the area at this time? Do you recognise the woman pictured?”
