Do you know this man?

We’re releasing a CCTV image of a man we’d like to speak to in connection with a theft at Next, in Charles Watts Way, Southampton, on 22 October.

Sometime between 8.40pm and 8.50pm staff at the Next shop confronted a man and woman on suspicion of shoplifting.

The man became verbally abusive and lunged at staff, while the woman pushed a staff member.

The suspects left the store with about £300-£400 worth of socks and underwear.

The woman was described as about 25-years-old.

The man was described as:

• Asian
• 25-40-years-old
• About 5’ 10” tall
• Medium build
• Black hair
• Large, black beard
• He was wearing a grey hooded top and jogging bottoms, trainers and a camouflage baseball cap

We’d like to hear from anyone who recognises and man from the CCTV or description, or from anyone who witnessed the incident.
