Have you been offered stolen jewellery?

We are asking for the public’s help after jewellery of huge sentimental value was stolen from the home of an 83 year old Emsworth lady.

The burglary occurred between 12 noon and 6.30pm on Tuesday, October 16, in Warblington Road.

The elderly resident was not at home at the time and neighbours reported the break in to police after spotting the garage door had been left open. The suspect (s) are believed to have forced a rear window to gain entry to the house.

The items taken include:

A pearl necklace (pictured)

A diamond ring (pictured)

A pearl and gold necklace, with an antique diamond clasp

A peacock feather shaped brooch with a big blue stone at the bottom and smaller stones surrounding it

Unknown quantity of Euros and other foreign currency notes from New Zealand, Australia, Sri Lanka and India
