Man charged following Southampton Common incident.

A 34 year-old man has been charged after two people were injured and one person was threatened on Southampton Common on Thursday 13 December.

Officers arrived on scene just after 4.20pm following reports of a man with a knife threatening people near the Cowherds pub.

Nabil Errouam of Oxford Avenue in Southampton has been charged with:

  • Two counts of wounding with intent.
  • Affray.
  • Possession of a bladed article in a public place.
  • Threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place.

He was remanded to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court today (Saturday 15 December) where he was remanded to next appear in court on January 11.
