Police release name of man who died following Mansbridge Road collision

Officers are appealing for any information, including dash cam footage, following a fatal collision on Mansbridge Road, Southampton last week.

Officers were called following the collision involving an orange, trail style motorbike and a pedestrian at 7.41am on Thursday 7 March.

The pedestrian, 55-year-old man Adam Wilcox of Colehill Crescent, Bournemouth, was taken to Southampton General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sadly, he died later in hospital on Friday, 8 March.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Officers are continuing to investigate the exact circumstances of the collision.
