Teenager charged in Totton robbery investigation

Detectives investigating a robbery at a shop in Totton have charged a 15-year-old boy.

The boy, from Southampton, has been charged with robbery, following an incident at the McColls store in Longstock Crescent, on Monday 11 February.

He has also been charged with:

  • Attempted burglary with intent to steal at the Premier Store in Viney Avenue, Romsey, on Monday 11 February
  • Burglary dwelling and theft at an address in Beaulieu Close, Southampton, on Monday 11 February
  • Burglary dwelling and theft at an address in Colebrook Avenue, Southampton, on Monday 11 February
  • Aggravated burglary at an address in Riverside Gardens on Wednesday 24 October, 2018
  • Taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent in Southampton on Wednesday 9 January
  • Taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent in Southampton on Tuesday 23 October, 2018.

He is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (Thursday 14 February).
