Elvis and the Beatles come together - in full Multimedia

‘Elvis and Us’ opens at The Beatles Story Pier Head in Liverpool in October 2011, and explores how the Fab Four were influenced by the King. Beyond the exhibits themselves, visitors to the groundbreaking exhibition will be offered an interactive multimedia guide bringing Elvis, and his four very special Liverpudlian fans, alive in sound and vision.

Using archive film and audio, as well as new interviews with key figures including Pete Best, the Beatles’ original drummer, the guide will give the visitor a unique insight into the relationship between Elvis and Liverpool’s favourite sons – including their remarkable pilgrimage to his Bel-Air home in 1965 to meet the King in person.

The guide will be produced by London-based imagineear whose handheld multimedia system, the mediaPacker™, is already in use in some of the world’s leading visitor attractions including the Taj Mahal and the Singapore Biennale.
