Knock4 - We're Recreating Recreation.

Founded in the UK; Knock4's mission is to engage people in their interests and enhance the sense of local community.

There are a number of websites out there that try to help people meet others, and some even match them by mutual interests. There are also currently endless numbers of directory websites that list places to go, events and even clubs and societies. There are currently none however that combine these aspects into one place where you can indulge yourself in everything to do with your interests. Well Knock4 want to change all that!

All you'll need to do is sign up, add a few of your interests and Knock4 will immediately start recommending things for you to do. Add days that you're available to your personal calendar and it will match you up with people that are available on the same day in your area and even suggest an interest and venue at the same time, creating an event which you can either keep as just the two of you, or add more people to.

There is a huge, comprehensive list of interests; each of which has its own profile page where you can discuss your interests, add images to share with others and find out more about them through the individual APIs and widgets specific to that area. What's more is Knock4 will actively recommend other interests that you might like through clever algorithms; you can think of it as the Netflix of the real world! There are already over 400 interests to choose from and more are being added all the time from user suggestions.
