Celebrating equality and co-education at Lancing Prep Hove

There has been much in the news this year about the 100 years’ anniversary of the vote first being given to some, but not all, women. We chose to celebrate an additional anniversary, namely 90 years since the Representation of the People Act 1928 gave all men and women over 21 the equal right to vote, and to tie this in with a celebration of the 15 years of co-education at Lancing Prep Hove. The ‘Equalitea’ was a super event for our girls and their mummies, starting with a suitably feisty rendition of Nana was a Suffragette, followed by a traditional afternoon tea with a very special cake.
