TS certification strengthens customer offering

The certification towards the automotive industry has led to a number of advantages for Lesjöfors Fjädrar AB. The company is now a more attractive supplier and partner, which is among other things evident in the order book.

Automotive industry ISO/TS 16949 is the international standard quality management system needed for a company that is a sub-supplier to the vehicle industry. For Lesjöfors and customers within the automotive industry, this certification involves opportunities for standardization, quality improvements and in the long run lower costs. All OE vehicle manufacturers in the world require the TS certificate from their suppliers. Being certified means a strengthened competence level in the company and that Lesjöfors is a more attractive supplier to both existing and new customers in the automotive industry.

 More inquiries are noticed
At Lesjöfors Fjädrar several positive results are noticed after the certification.
“Since we got the TS 16949 certificate, we see more requests that are related to the certification. The certification also meets a number of our customers' new requirements since they themselves now are working for their own TS certification.
