Press release -

Manchester United Fans 'Red Hot' Between The Sheets

Manchester United may not have been scoring much this season, but it seems their fans have.

According to a new survey United fans enjoy more regular and longer passionate encounters than fans of any of their Barclay Premier League rivals. They were followed in the lust stakes by supporters of Liverpool and Arsenal – both of whom have been enjoying considerably more successful seasons.

The stats emerged following a study commissioned by betting website www.beatthebookie.tv to announce their new dating micro site, www.matchfit.tv.

Matthew Stubbs, Chief Executive of  www.beatthebookie.tv commented:

‘We’re quite surprised by these results. We’d have expected supporters of the teams that have done really well this season to be enjoying more active sex lives than those of a team frankly not enjoying the greatest of seasons.

Having said that, United are also known as 'The Red Devils'.

The other thing we identified was that North-West England seems to be England’s hottest region.’

Those survey results in full:

The 'Sexy’ Six

1.  Man United

2.  Liverpool

3.  Arsenal

4.  Southampton
