Swedish Award Winning Chocolate From Malmö Chokladfabrik to the UK

Multi award-winning Swedish artisan chocolate producers Malmö Chokladfabrik will be exhibiting for the first time at the Speciality Chocolate Fair, which is set within Speciality & Fine Food Fair at London's Olympia, from the 4th-6th September 2016. Visit them at Stand 2933.

"We're very excited to be taking our fine chocolates to the UK", says Managing Director Jens Fylker, who acquired Malmö Chokladfabrik last year, with this brother Jakob.

"We only use the finest ingredients in our chocolates", continues Fylkner. "We pride ourselves on using the highest quality cocoa and unrefined cane sugar. We roast the cocoa beans ourselves in order to ensure the highest quality for our bars and we use beans from Chuao, Venezuela, as well as Sambirano in Madagascar and Esmeralda in Ecuador."

"We work only with natural ingredients and do not use any e-numbers or artificial flavouring. As far as possible we focus on using organically grown cocoa beans, with more than 90% of our chocolates being organic. Many of these are also Fairtrade - and are free from nuts, gluten, egg, soy, almonds, peanuts and other allergens. The majority of our products, with the exception of the white and milk chocolates, are also lactose and milk free".

After a major re-branding in the past year, and the launch of a range of new flavours, Malmö Chokladfabrik has won a number of prestigious international awards for their fine chocolate bars, gift cones and luxury selection boxes. Nine of their chocolate bars were awarded stars in the Great Taste Awards 2016. They have also won no less than seven awards in the International Chocolate Awards regional semi-final in Denmark for their flavoured chocolate, and two awards in the European semi-final for Pure Chocolate. In October they will take part in the World Final of the International Chocolate Awards, to be held in London.
