"Heartbreak". Mas.s touches with his newest painting upon an intrinsic experience in every human life.

In his series "Supermodel" Mas.s, the original Dutch artist, has touched upon the intrinsic human experience of heartbreak. He was inspired by an old saying from his home country, "If your broken hearted, pick a rose, stick it on your hat and tomorrow, there will be no more sorrow." He says, " it is a typical Dutch message of hope and fortitude, to look forward and not to dwell in the past to long. I like that" 

In his own words he describes his work as "casual precision" and "organised chaos". "I love to work with colour and contrast, using broad lines, forms and huge amounts of oil paint but I am still very precise in my expression and detail. Every brushstroke is thoughtful and full of energy".

The uniqueness in portrayal has moved Gagliardi Gallery, one of the oldest contemporary art galleries in Chelsea, London to  feature a "Supermodel" painting on the back cover of the November issue of the British Museum Magazine.
