"Unity in Diversity" Art exhibtion. A solo show by Mas.s in Levanto, Italy.

From the 6th to the 12th of September Mas.s is to show more then 20 paintings in the Old City Hall of the delightful coastal town of Levanto in Italy. He says: "I am thrilled by this wonderful opportunity to share my gift in Italy. This is a perfect platform to show "Unity in Diversity", both in the world at large and in my art.  Focussing on what binds us and not on what divides us." Very current indeed.

On invitation of the City of Levanto, a well known town at the start of the world famous "Cinque Terre" on the Italian riviera, the original Dutch artist is showing his wonderful mix of his strong conceptual art, mysterious landscapes, colourful portraits and unique abstracts. His art touching upon nature but also on social and spiritual issues. He says "I create art, but I am telling a story also, documenting my life, what I have experienced, what I have seen. I feel compelled to share this story of joy and hope". He is very excited to share this story in one of his favourite countries. He expects his "Unity in Diversity" show to come to more regions in Europe.

Large works galore. Mas.s shifting into sizeable paintings. Just now.

After painting "Impact",the lifesize statue of a baby Asian Elephant.Mas.s took the opportunity to start a range of rather large works in the gallery he was using in Kingston Upon Thames.His unique way of expressing took a new meaning on these larger works.He says"I did have this dream of translating the conceptual, abstract and landscapes to a new level.And I like it.More powerful still."
