New Cyclist Indicator launched to tremendous public applause

A couple of years ago, Ken Tedder, a London Taxi driver, came within a whisker of knocking a lady from her bike whilst driving across Westminster Bridge. As it happens, she had made the necessary hand signal but it was at night and Ken simply didn't see her. An electrician by trade, Ken went home and immediately started to design a prototype of a device which could stop that type of incident from happening again. Investing his own hard earned cash, Ken successfully applied for a Patent on his design but thats where his dream stalled as he had no idea how to produce the unit or indeed take it to market. He was introduced to Modern Safety Solutions Ltd by his accountant and, led by Managing Director, Adam Rubens, the INDIC8OR was soon in production. Shown initially at The Cycle Show in Birmingham, and more recently at the London Bike Show at Excel, the INDIC8OR has been very warmly received. "Commuters simply love it" commented Adam Rubens, "as soon as the show opened, we had crowds of on-lookers as we demonstrated the new revolutionary device. Many commented that they have been waiting for such a device for years and didn't understand why it has taken so long to come to market. No matter how illuminated cyclists make themselves on todays hectic roads, with all the high viz jackets and lights, car drivers have simply become immune to them and remarkably drive as if they just don't see them. Now, when the cyclist raises his arm to indicate, four ultra bright flashing lights ablaze in front of their eyes, and there is no mistaking their intention. As we hear of more and more road accidents involving cyclists, there is no better time to be introducing a device which may just save their lives". Modern Safety Solutions sold out of their stock at the Shows and have since been selling on their website (www.indic8or.com) at £17.99. They have since been approached by several of the large retailers, and many of the independents, and it wont be long before they are available in every high street. Their slogan is SIGNAL-BE SAFE-BE SEEN, a valuable message for all road users.
