Rules relaxed to become a teacher due to staffing crisis - Herald
Following pressure from education authorities facing a recruitment crisis, particularly in Moray and the north of Scotland, teachers who have trained outwith Scotland can now register to teach.
Moray Council took part in a pilot of this scheme with the GTCS late last year in a bid to attract more teachers, particularly those in the area as partners of military personnel. Several are undertaking the extra training as a result.
