Applications sought for Euro funding

Moray Council is inviting applications for Challenge Funds supported by finance from the EU.

Organisations can apply for funding to undertake projects in Moray that fit with the council’s employability strategy of helping people with barriers towards and into work.

The council has been allocated £334,000 of European Social Fund money by the Scottish Government for its employability operation.

European funding received via Moray Council would cover up to 50% of eligible costs. Applicant organisations will have to provide a signed letter confirming match funding which should not come from private funds or other European funding streams.

The deadline for application is June 23, with projects having to be completed by the end of 2018.

Application forms and guidance are available at www.moray.gov.uk/ESFChallenge and further information is available by e-mailing alan.macbeth@moray.gov.uk
