Cycling roadshow to coincide with Etape Royale
Moray Council is to hold a cycling roadshow in Dufftown this weekend to coincide with the Etape Royale event.
The roadshow will take place at Mortlach Primary School from 10am on Sunday and is free of charge.
It will provide an opportunity for people to try out a variety of cycles and to talk to staff from the council’s transportation section and access leaflets and other information.
Families will be made especially welcome and there will be a range of bicycles for children to try out.
There will also be an accessibility obstacle course designed to help people understand the daily travel challenges faced by those with mobility problems.
The course has been devised by the council’s equal opportunities officer, Don Toonen, in conjunction with the Moray Equalities Forum.
