Fundraising seminar

An event takes place at Elgin Town Hall later this month when local groups and organisations will be able to find out how to access funding for their projects.

Among key funders who will be represented are SportScotland, Creative Scotland, the European Fisheries Fund, LEADER, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, the Scottish Land Fund, the Beatrice Fund and the Gordon and Ena Baxter Foundation.

The main speaker will be Bernard Ross of the Management Centre. An international expert in strategic thinking and organisational change, he will talk about crowdfunding, one of the most exciting new ways of raising money for project work.

All the funders taking part in the seminar on Thursday, April 27 have a wealth of knowledge and information about the wide range of funding programmes currently available.

The event is supported by Moray Council and Business Gateway and attendance is free, although booking is advisable. Places can be reserved online at https://morayfundraisingseminar2017.eventbrite.co.uk.  The closing date for bookings is Friday, April 21.
