Licence applications over the festive period

APPLICATIONS FOR OCCASIONAL/EXTENDED HOURS LICENCES OVER THE FESTIVE PERIOD

Our published guidance recommends that applications should be submitted to us no later than 28 days pre the event date. This is because of the statutory consultation requirements, which mean that we cannot guarantee to process any applications in a shorter time period. We are now beyond that 28 day point with applications for the festive period.

We are continuing to process the numerous applications already received but for any proposed new applications, we need to reaffirm that, although we will do our best, no application received now is guaranteed to complete processing before the office closes on 23 December, and that any applications received after 14 December, we will be unable to start processing until the offices reopen on 4 January 2017.
