Niam acquires retail property in Sweden

Niam has signed an agreement to acquire the retail property Strömpilen 1 from Citycon AB. The property comprises a total of ~27,000 sqm and is located 5 kilometers outside of Umeå. The property has a diverse group of tenants, including ICA Maxi, Systembolaget and Apotek Hjärtat.

Johan Bergman, CEO, says, “This was an opportunity for Niam to acquire a retail property with development potential in Northern Sweden’s fastest growing city. The property is a good complement to the retail properties Niam has previously acquired in Sweden.”
