Press release -

Keypoint Communications is a cheaper solution than BT when it comes to supplying business phone packages

Keypoint knows that a lot of small businesses only really need call forwarding and caller ID to make the functionality of their business phone systems come up to spec. Where the business phone system market had previously failed them (especially BT) was in its inability to provide such simple services without forcing the customer in question to pay massive premiums for packages they didn’t really want – packages that contained the call forwarding and caller ID capabilities they needed. Aside from the obvious price disadvantage, small companies forced to buy these packages were then faced with a daunting array of functions they didn’t understand or want: which, like anything, went wrong on a regular basis and brought the whole system to its knees would then require the unwanted expense of getting an engineer out to fix the problem.

Keypoint Communications have made rapid strides in the cheap business calls market recently. They started off well last year when they introduced a price tariff that revealed the dishonesty traditionally prevalent in the market, and have been going through magnitudes of strength in recent months as customers fed up with punishing hidden costs switch to the fairer Keypoint system. Now, Keypoint are poised to up the ante with a VoIP phone system that brings an almost unlimited world of user capability to any user.

Keypoint started offering pay per item business phone systems in tandem with its cheap business calls. Which meant companies could suddenly buy just call forwarding and caller ID, without worrying about the cost or complications of a package containing a raft of other stuff.

VoIP phone system technology is enabling Keypoint to go one further. With a VoIP phone system, a company can expand the functionality of its business phone system way beyond simple caller ID and call forwarding – to include things like voice dictated emails; conference calls; free international calls; unlimited extensions: plus a ton of other functions that make almost every aspect of business communications easier. A VoIP phone system works through the Internet, which means it uses Net-based software to upgrade an existing business phone system to do any and everything listed above. That means no new kit, which means no expensive add ons. Indeed, with Keypoint’s VoIP phone system, a customer simply pays for a single item, has it installed and then watches in amazement as their annual communications bill starts shedding thousands.

It’s no longer the case, then, that a small business needs to look just to get caller ID and call forwarding, end up bound by a horribly expensive package and lose a barrel load of money every year on unnecessary comms costs. Rather, a small business can run to Keypoint, champions of the honest communications package, and end up with a single, extremely cheap option that gives enough functionality to last through an almost endless expansion. Keypoint are making cheap business phone calls a reality not just for the present, but for the future.
